Biography
Vimal Sathiaseelan is a Partner at Leon & Partners, with a practice focused on dispute resolution, particularly corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. He has represented clients in a wide range of matters before all levels of the Malaysian courts and in arbitrations in Malaysia.
Vimal's practice covers a broad range of contentious matters, including contractual and tortious claims, corporate and commercial disputes, fraud and asset recovery, defamation, privacy and breach of confidence claims, land disputes, injunctions, employment disputes, debt recovery, port-related disputes, insolvency and receivership-related matters.
Vimal began his legal career at Messrs Shukor, Baljit & Partners, where he gained experience in civil and banking litigation, disputes involving the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), and corporate advisory work. He subsequently joined Shearn Delamore & Co, where he worked on litigation and arbitration matters, including complex, high-value disputes and one of the largest fraud recovery actions globally.
